Cantwait - why didn't I think of youtube! LOLOL!

Veronica - I'm so happy you've been to MP before! I'm sure you'll be able to give lots of insight to those of us who have never been there...like me!

And....SO! I made good on my threat to my WC today to call if she didn't get back to me...come to find out, she's been on vacation for the past few weeks, and won't be back for another 2 weeks! Way to notify me. Sheeeeesssshh. They are going to have someone else email me in the meantime. A little frustrating!

Yea! I get David Pena! And the desired suit was available to rent through the resort! Two happy emails received today!

Also, just a heads up: Claudia sent me an email stating that Mario is no longer working at the palace. The new head of photography is Armando.

I looks like we all had a "good news" daysmile123.gif

Nancy, my WC, is back from vacation and responded to all of my emails. I'm still debating the whole beach wedding vs. a gazebo. I emailed her, like several of you recommended, and asked her if we could also reserve a gazebo in case I changed my mind about the beach. Then I asked if it was possible to book the chapel if it wasn't already being used.

Well she informed me that she had already reserved us a gazebo smile36.gif and to top it off...the chapel! I'm pretty excited now smile159.gif

Deciding where is going to be even that much more difficult now knowing that the chapel is an option...

We leave on Friday!!

KLO - Looks like your day is almost here!!! How exciting! I'm sure everything will go beautifully! You can't go wrong with the Moon Palace! Maybe you guys can meet up at a lounge immediately following the ceremony (if you don't have a cocktail hour) and then just have some free time before you all meet up at 6pm for dinner:)

Thanks so much for the input on the pictures/video! That really helps me a lot! Does the resort photographer take getting ready pictures and all that if you want him/her to? That's really important to us. Also, do you know if they would do a TTD? I'm thinking I should just hire an outside photographer for that!
Sorry, I don't know the answer to that! I think I've read somewhere if you get one of the bigger packages that they will include those types of things but I don't know... Sorry!

If you decide to fill time during the gap you could go to one of the bars. There is one on top of the Caribbean restaurant (on the Grand side - pretty close to Tucan and the Chapel Gazebos) that is really cool but I don't know if it is open all day so you would have to check that out. And if your dinner is on the Sunrise side, there are two really neat bars. One we called the "swing" bar because the seats directly around the bar were swings, and of course I can't remember the name right now but if I think of it I'll post again. The other was the Beach Lounge which is right on the beach.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
