I don't have a clue what to do about living in BC. But I did have a lot of questions about the reception, and the beginning planning stages. Browse through the other 78 pages of posts on this thread and you'll find the answers to a lot of the reception, wedding type questions. Good luck!

Hi everyone

 

I am getting married at The moon Palace on 30th July 09 my events are as follows;

 

July 28th Welcome dinner 7:00pm to 9:00pm 35 ppl. Arrecifes Restaurant.

 

July 30th Wedding Ceremony 4:00pm Gazebo

 

July 30th Wedding Cocktail 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm garden area for upto 70 people with a band

 

July 30th Wedding Dinner 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. indoor ballroom

 

I want to have a religiuos ceremony. But I would like to know what the wording is like. If anyone know's could they let me know. Thanx

Hello everyone!!! I just returned from my Moon Palace dream wedding and it was just that a 'dream' that finally became reality. The wedding was perfect!!!!! Give me a couple of days and I will post my review. If you have certain questions that you want me to talk about just let me know and hopefully, I will be able to answer them all.

Where you able to book your cocktail location, gazebo, ballroom and welcome dinner? It was my impression you couldn't do that until 3 months before the wedding. Thanks for the information!

Hi Cutierosie

I have booked my cocktail party location, gazebo, ballroom and welcome dinner with Maribel Blancarte, she e-mailed me to confirm the times, dates locations of all my events. I was told that In order to hold the function space she needed the form she sent me to be filled out with the following details

welcome dinner date, time and resturant location

Cocktail date, time and location

wedding reception dinner and dance, date, time and location
.

And any extras I would like

I sent her the above information filled out on the form and she sent me back an e-mail confirming everything.

She has also put on my file that I want a Religious non-denominational ceremony.

My wedding is before yours and I didn't get an e-mail telling me I could do this..in fact my wedding coordinator is not in FL anymore so I don't even know the person that is taking care of all my stuff, apparently I have this new person but she has not contacted me. I just contacted them and hopefully they will reserve my locations. It is pretty messed up that they have not taken care of these details by sending me any forms or that the new person has not contacted me yet.

Hopefully I get the forms this week so I can reserve everything.
