We are having their judge or whatever do the legal thing...and I added a non-denominational minister I think. We're also adding a sand ceremony and maybe a hand ceremony if it isn't too much...We're also having VERY close family friends read a clip from Dr. Suses "The Places We Will Go". We're hoping everything takes at least 15-30 minutes....

Sharla, Did you have your minister guy say the san ceremony or did you guys say it yourselves? I want the guy to say it but they told me they wont. I know we've all discussed this before but i just wanted to know what you had :)
Thanks. Also, did you have a lot of time b/w your ceremony and your cocktail hour? Is that when they typically take pictures?

Hello Hopeful Grand Moon Brides

Our hope is to book all of our guests on the new Grand Moon side of the resort. We have requested this through our Travel Advisor with CAA.

Does anyone have experience with this?

My wedding coordinator, Nancy said that the JOTP could say the sand ceremony saying, so I am confused too because Maribel told me he couldnt. I will have to double check with her again.

the sand ceremony is similar to a unity candle. They don't charge you for it, you only have to buy your sand vases and stuff. If you do a search, you'll find threads about it.

The hand ceremony I heard about on this site.

Here's a link to the one I'm using. Read it, and again, I'm sitting here crying!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
