I googled Wedding Sand Ceremony and there are a few websites that come up with supplies. Im looking around at craft stores like Michaels or something to see if I can find something cheaper that we can use. Including the sand etc..

Hello everyone! I just posted on the Newbie board, but I have to admit...yesterday I read through all 41 pages of posts on the board! You all have so much great information to share and I feel like I have learned a lot already.

I have started planning and thinking of all our details for MP, and I do have a bunch of pictures I have found on the internet and a bunch of documents from Maribel at MP so I will make sure to post them, A: when I learn how, and B: if people need them!

I tend to be a chatty Kathy so you will probably see me post a lot on here! I can't wait to get to know you girls and help you plan while helping me! [/color]

KBMD,
I think I mentioned this before, but one of the wedding coordinators in Mexico told me that the justice of the peace or minister will not read anything that we give him and that he will only say a poem for us and do our vows.
I was recently assigned Nancy Ariza, so I will ask her if that is true or not.
If anyone happens to find out sooner, please let me know. Thanks!!

Melissa,
I read that a few weeks ago and contacted my WC, Cristina. I sent her a copy of my sand ceremony and asked if the JP would read it and she said yes, no problems. Not sure what is going on.

Welcome Jennifer, nice to have another MP bride. I worked with Maribel for a few months, she was great, very responsive. As for posting, feel free to post any information you come across that you think will help the girls. I would rather have too much stuff to dig through than none at all. Happy planning.

Oh my god Ill have to ask Yudelka in FL to see if I can send her what I have written out for my sand ceremony. Its not religious at all so I dont see how it would be an issue. Once i hear from her about it ill let you girls know.

Pookie, do you know what else your JP will say in addition to the sand ceremony? Do they tell you anything about it once you are assigned a WC?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
