okay - need all of your help!

First ~ what do we give our WC? Any ideas? Do we also give something to all the other people working our wedding?

Also, and this is a good one! Today it dawned on me that I haven't put any thought in to what I give my husband for our 20th anniversary. This is really bad of me. He doesn't want a new ring - he said the ceremony could be my new ring because he is satisfied with his. So.....I wonder what the world I should give him. He is very picky, gets everything that he wants - he doesn't ask for much. If you guys have any suggestions - please, please tell me.

Hmmmm...putting my thinking cap on....

Are the kids sharing a room with you? If so, maybe arrange 1 full day and night where they could stay with a family member. Then surprise him with an excursion for just the two of you. Or a couples massage....a nice dinner...and a room with a double jacuuzi and no kids for a night......

If the kids won't be in yoru room, I have to keep thinking lol

There are a few threads about tipping the people who work the wedding (if that is what you're talking about). I'm not sure what I'm doing yet, I'll figure it out closer to the wedding.

For gifts, my FI has been on an "experience" gift kick for the last few years. Instead of gifts he liked to give experiences. For example, his dad is into airplanes, so for father's day we got him a glider flight session. What does you DH like, maybe there's an experience that goes with it. I also like Dez's idea, do a spa day and follow it up in your room, get the kids off to a different room for a night.

Tam1984,

my best freind is my hairdresser, so shes doing my hair!! Thank God! but the day b4 i'm gettting a trial run for make up. you have to pay for it, but it's worth the peace and mind this way if there is something you dont like you have time to play around with it. I would get both hair and make up done the day b4.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
