Cool, I found this forum. Do any of you ladies attend the regular meetings? Or do you just count points? Just wondering because in the summer I just conted the points and worked out and I was successful with it. but I was wondering if the meetings help at all or are they a waste of $$ better spent on food.

Hi Melissa,

I don't attend the meetings, I used to, for some people I think they help, but I'm trying to save as much money as possible for the wedding right now, so the girls on here are my support group! We help each other and we report each week on our loss or gain (most of us do it on friday before the weekend)

If you don't have the book and points calculator I would suggest attending one meeting just to get the stuff and if you like it you can always keep going, but if not at least you have the information.

Jilly I'm just like you. Every last penny I can manage to squeeze by with is going to the wedding. In the summer I just used to go to web sites with recipe ideas and had the points listed. And I got addicted to Tim Horton's Chilli which was only 6 pts (I think?).

I also have an excel file that calculates points from fibre content, carbs, calories and fat. And I kept my logging/daily diary in the computer file as well. I'm such a geek... and i can't beleive I just admitted to making my own ww points excel file. Please don't judge.... haha

Perhaps I'll start back up again and join you ladies on the ww wagon... the hardest part is the first part and changing over. That means I have to go grocery shopping and working out again. AHHH

We have an excel file around here as well, you're not a geek! keeping track in the computer is a good idea too, a lot of times I'm too lazy to right stuff down so I just keep it in my head, but sometimes I forget (oops) about certain things!

Yes, you should join us!! I definetly do better on the weeks I go shopping. You should start tomorrow and weigh in next friday. or whenever you're ready to start, I know I like fridays because its before I blow it on the weekend!

We are so bad Ann! Actually, that's not all I ate. After about an hour on the road and only eating that 1/2 bagel during the photo shoot I had to stop for something. I drove through McDonalds and got a double cheeseburger and a snack wrap. This should probably go in the confessions file, not the Weight Watchers thread! lol
I just had to celebrate a little for getting through the photo session with all you skinny girls- I have to say, that was way intimidating, but I think I held my own ok. I didn't have much choice!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
