MOH is no longer coming to my wedding!

Recommended Posts

Hi there to my 2nd date twin!

I am so sorry she bailed on you. Sometimes people dont know how to tell you things and find it easier to do it in writing versus face to face. It was probably very hard for her to do and she probably couldn't muster up the courage to do it face to face. I'm sure she probably just found it easier for her to say it this way. I know it hurts, but at least she told you now instead of waiting till the last minute or avoiding your calls altogether.

I would let her go on and help plan your other wedding related events. If she wants to be involved in some way, it would be more damaging to your relationship with her to tell her no, than to let her do what she can. Who knows, maybe she'll get excited about it and reconsider once she sees how much she is missing out on.

Take care!

Ditto. I'm really late on this, but I'm so sorry. What a crappy way to break news like that. Obviously, she was scared to talk to you because she knew she was doing wrong. I hate when people don't even have teh decency to step up to the plate. I'm so sorry for all the added stress. You totally don't need that!

I am really sorry about your MOH. People just kind a suck!

I too have have a BM back out this week. We leave in 3 weeks.

I think we need little "My MOH/BM backed out" badges like the Biggest Loser badges!

Be strong and you'll get through it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
