HOAX: EVERYTHING is $1!!!!! Nordstrom e.l.f. makeup!

I got my stuff ok:

Hey ladies ~ I ordered about $75 worth of stuff from ELF about a year ago, a massive order for me and 3 other friends. And, I received everything just fine. The order was complete, and from what I remember I got everything in about a week.

 

My opinion on their products:

Yes, some of the stuff is comparable to the cheaper brands (Wet and Wild, etc.) and the sizes are somewhat smaller, especially the shadows. BUT, their lipglosses are pretty good, and makeup tools are actually a good quality. Their brushes are worth it for being just a dollar, since makeup brushes tend to be pretty expensive. I'd say it's all pretty damn good for a dollar apiece.

 

So based on my experience from about a year ago, I got everything I ordered. It sucks that others have had problems, but I guess the good thing is that the stuff is so cheap it's not the hugest loss When someone told me about it I thought "hell, $1 makeup??" and after spending tons of money on favs like Smashbox, Too Faced, etc...I thought, why not??

omg, I was one of the ones who ordered $100.00 worth of make-up from elf. The makeup is horrible, its originally sold at BigLots or Food For Less. The eye lashes are horrible they are too big for the eyes and the glue, well there isnt even enough glue to put them on. The eyeshadows are not matte at all and last maybe about 10 minutes before you need to reapply. The brushes are small not your average brushes, Lipstick lasts about 20 minutes before you need to apply again, the only good thing about the lipgloss is that it smells good..

I cancelled my order, but they responded to my order almost immediately wiht a confirmation number.

Really? I haven't even gotten one since they confirmed my cancellation. It seems they are definitely inconsistant.

Okay, I ordered like 14 things on 5/20. Received my stuff yesterday. The only thing I like is the lip gloss and brushes. I opened and used about half of the stuff and the other half I'm not opening. I'm going to take it to Mexico with me to give as gifts to the maids or somebody who will like It's definitely cheap quality but I don't regret spending $17 on 14 things. Some of the stuff I will use.
