Looking for a Spanish Guitarist for Ceremony - Any referrals?

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies,

I've mentioned this in other threads, but it is cruch time! With less than 2 months left for my wedding, I am still searching for a Spanish guitarist for the ceremony.

I've requested this from my WC, but she says she hasn't found one. Hmm, I've seen pictures with a lonely spanish guitarist sitting in the front row of many PV weddings. But most on other photog's/wc's blogs.

Are there any PV brides here that can offer a bit of advice??

Thanks!!!

Thank you, thank you Edna! I spoke w/ Pris and I settled with a pianist, but its really not what I want. I just find it hard to believe that there are no guitarist in PV. I think she meant they are not loud enough for the Church, but I assume we can use a mic and speakers!

Probably you are right, a solo guitar is not loud enough at the Cathedral, but if they use mic and speakers would be fine... I am going to have a trio of flaute, piano and violin probably , not defined yet but he has a bunch of stuff on Ceremony Music. The provider is Alejandro Villarreal.

I just remember who was the bride using a guitar, it was Jackie PVBride , she got married at Playa Fiesta last february, I havent see her in a while, but I remember I found the name and phone of the provider she was going to use... just cant find it now!

Thank you Edna! I'll try searching for her info. It has to be around here! I've always imagined this for my wedding. I know I'm being hard headed, but if that's what the bride wants, that's what she gets, haha!

Thank you so much Mishka! Is he good? We are getting married in the Cathedral downtown and my coordinator was afraid we wouldn't be able to hear one very well.

Your welcome! I have a feeling he's the same pianist that Pris is reffering us to.

I found Jackie's post. They are called the Antonio Jerezano Duo but she never came back to post a review and I can't find any info about them on the web.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
