I LOVE TARGET! just got my OOT bags!

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I have a question for everyone who has purchased these bags...who will actually use them first? I have my 20 bags sitting in a big box in my garage and suddenly I am a bit nervous about hauling them all down to Mexico. I am having second thoughts because they are a bit more on the bulky side...don't get me wrong I love them and they were a great find/price but really who will take them to their wedding first?!

Oh I hope these are available at my Target! We are only having immediate family at our wedding so there are only a few women coming. I wanted something personalized but I wouldn't need the minimum amount of bags required by most vendors to personilize. I'm thinking I might add a cute Coach ponytail tie to my sisters bag just to make hers extra special. She's my MOH. These bags are great.

They have noticed how fast all of the wedding stuff goes- like the bachlorette party goodies, etc so hopefully they will keep it coming!bunny_4.gif

HA! My cousin that lives in Minnesota works there too!!! She doesn't work at the dollar spot but I am always so jealous cause I just love Target stuff so much.

My WC was nice enought to let me ship them to her office ahead of time so that's what I'm going to do. I feel you though cause they are adorable and a great price but a bit bulky. I have soooo many things already but the good thing too is that 5 other relatives are flying in teh same plane as us so I will hand them down luggage to haul adn just pay them for the extra bag fee.

Ok - so my target is out of the bags - I saw them once, when I was back home for my shower - they were cute, but it was not practical for me to buy them then, because I had no easy way of getting them back to TN from WI. SO, I pretty sure I'm out of luck on the cute little bags.

HOWEVER, if anyone has any kids coming, they have really cute sand/beach/water toy sets for $2.50. I got one for my nieces (ages 1 and 6) who are coming - its not too big, so I figure I can fit it somewhere to pack it and it will make their OOT bags a little more kid-friendly. I also got the older niece a pair of goggles for the pool and some color/activity books and markers.

Also, we have one young teen boy coming (I think age 14) and Target had this small ball set (football and soccer ball) which will be perfect for throwing around on the beach/in the pool. So, that is what we will put in his OOT bag...probably the older boys (my FI and his brother & friends) will have more fun with it then the kid, but it'll be a source of entertainment, none-the-less wink.gif

So, as always, Target has pulled through for me, just in a slightly different way then I had originally intended.

I live right around the corner from Target and about 2 weeks ago I bought 8 green and 8 pink because those are my colors. Since my wedding is so far out I don't know how many I will need so last week I was there and they had green so I picked up 2 more and today they had pink, so I picked up more pink. Don't give up on Target yet, they may just be in the back in a box. I love them and I plan on filling some of the space with a towel.

I bought the same bags. What I am planning on doing is having a BBQ the weekend before we leave and distributing everything then. That way we don't have to worry about bringing them with us. It also gives everyone a chance to meet each other since we are having about 40 people go. We do have some out of state'rs so we will have to find a way to bring their bags to mexico but it will one be like two bags.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
