Jill, I emailed Gaby asking her if she had x, y and z flowers and she wrote back simply stating that I should wait to choose them from photos when I am there....?? I just want to know if they even have access to a few certain flowers.

We are getting legally married before Cancun so the non-legal one would be good for me. Can you post or send me that one? Thanks!

thanks anyways! :-) If anyone does know how the legal ceremony goes, please post if you can!! It would be really helpful to have the template so I can see what things I can add (or take out! I agree, none of this "obey" stuff! lol)

Has anyone thought about having background music playing during dinner ? We are already paying to hire Dreams music equipment for the dancing / partying after dinner but thought it would be nice to have some music playing in the back ground although I don't want to pay again for the equipment. What are your thoughts on this ? Has anyone who has already got married done this ? If so what did you do and how did it work out? Do you think an IPOD and docking station would be sufficient for this ? There will only be around 35 of us. Also why is it so hard to get hold of the legal ceremony wording ? I know this is a big issue but it is so frustrating, how do we know if we want to do our own wording or stay with the origional ?? Am I right in thinking that we get drinks service through cocktail hr and dinner ? Can anyone tell me what time the lobby bar closes ? Is the lobby bar near to the Terrace ? Sorry for all the questions, thanks

We had the video done through the resort package and was actually our photographer's husband. It worked out very well. I don'thave it posted anywhere, but I must say, we are so glad we got it! The day goes by so fast, you are able to re-live it and maybe see some things you didn't know about :)

We had the mariachi trio during the cocktail hour, so the sound guy moved the equipment from the gazebo to the reception area, inside and out on the terrace. Our dinner and reception music was all on our ipod, but the sound guy played it so that there were no 1 second gaps in between each song. He controlled the volume during speaches, played the right songs during the ritual dances, la vibora, the garter, bouquet toss, etc. I think it was worth paying for the extra time with the sound system. We had 41 people.

There is a bar in the tower lobby which is where we had dinner and reception, right next to our tables. Cannot remember what time the main lobby bar closes, but many of our guests were there until close that night.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
