I have emailed you, I'd love to see your photos, especially as they are so recent, If you have any other advice it would be greatfully received, what was your time scale on the day and how did it work out for you ? Have you posted a reveiw yet, I havn't seen it ? x

For those that used the IPOD, I read on one of the posts that the battery died quickly. Is it possible to bring a charger and plug it in to the electrical outlet that the sound equipment is using? Would we need to bring a power strip (for addl outlets).

we brought our own docking station and plugged it in, our docking station charges the IPOD while its on, so we didn't have any problems with dying batteries.

In regards to your docking station that you brought - how big is it? How did you bring it down? Would you mind sharing the model so that we can check it out? Do you know how many watts (how loud) it is? Was it loud enough for the wedding in hindsight?

 

We are trying to figure out what to do for music. We are going to get the soundsystem for the ceremony, but the thought of paying $180 per hour just to plug our IPOD in for the reception seems like a lot of money. If we go your route, at least we have a sound system to use at home in the backyard or for parties...

Is anyone thinking about getting married at Dreams Cancun on the beach or will you stick with the Gazebo? We are contemplating this idea.....looks so nice with the huppah (sp?)......Claudia sent me the attached price/picture list.

we bought the altec lansing IM7. It is about 1 1/2- 2 feet long and its rounded, so it fit in our carryon suitcase very well. I think it was loud enough for us, we had about 25 people so we were in a confined area, but it was plenty loud enough.

we had the same thought about having the docking station and the IPOD for at home, it seemed better to spend the money on that stuff and be able to use it again at home rather than spend 180 an hour on the setup at dreams, which to me seems like a ripoff.

I have been looking for info in previous posts but cant find it..did any of the past or are any of the future DC brides doing that intimate dinner for two option? If so any idea the cost?

 

 

Also...how do you/did you get the oot bags distributed? Did Daniella or Claudia help? or the concierge? Thank you all as usual!

In the Q&A it says if you have Guest favors delivered to the rooms:

Delivered to the guest rooms - There is a $4 usd charge per room for delivery
