I did and it is VERY religious. I didn't mind at all, but if you don't want something like that you may want to e-mail your WC and ask for a copy of the ceremony. This way you can ask her if she has something less religious.
You can always write your own ceremony. A couple of girls did on here and it turned out awesome! You should search it

it's a few posts back...if you search this specific thread, it'll come up. it is VERY religious like phillybride said. we wanted something spiritual, but not religious so we wrote our own. Cecilia said it's not a problem and that i should just send it to her when i'm finished with it. if you do a search on the forum youll find a thread about ceremony scripts...i got a lot of ideas from there!

Hey, so the gazebo is different now? It's no longer surrounded on 3 sides by water? Also, is there no longer the private beach by the gazebo? I've just realized everyone has been talking about the Himitsu Beach... I'm worried b/c the reason I fell in love w/ Dreams was for the gazebo & now I want to cry if it looks really different...

Also, my mother just informed me that a few guests are staying at another hotel. If we want to go to Azucar after the reception, does anyone know how much they would have to pay?

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, just wondering if there are any brides who have prices from their travel agents for november/december 2010. We are getting married at the end of december and leaving from canada and the prices are almost doubled than any other time, I know that it is Christmas but it is crazy. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing and maybe how much you guys are paying per person?

Thank you very much ladies for your help = )I will have to research on it more. Also, did you ladies set up your own decorations for the gazebo? Did they charge you extra?

Yes, it is now totally different. See the facebook pics a few pages back, and yes I almost cried too. I even went so much as to contact other hotels with more isolated gazebos but by now every place is booked for my month, so I guess I will just learn to deal and love it just the same.

When I went down last year, I went to Azucar and cover was $12. It was midnight and there were like 2 people in the club so we went to Mambo Cafe in downtown instead...which was also empty but was packed to the brim by 3am...guess they start their parties late over there! Heard Azucar closes at 7am...I could never hang that long! lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
