This is so stupid! It's an all inclusive resort. I don't understand what the big deal is when food is free there anyway. I'll be bringing alot of business to them as I'd plan to have 45-50 guests and they will be all staying at the resort. And yet, they nickel and dime me. I might as well go with the free wedding package.
I wouldn't even be worrying about this now. I'm sure part of the reason you are having this trouble is that your wedding is over a year out still. A lot changes in a year and I'm sure prices and the economy will change and so too will dreams policy. The way I look at it we are all still getting great deals on a Mexico wedding versus just about anywhere else, including home. I did some research and this is part of the reason I chose Mexico. Also, I think it is important to note that the WCs there are not the boss, they are just following orders and policies laid down for them by someone else. I guess, if you're really upset you can go to their boss. Try to breathe!smile78.gif

Dear Sunita:

Yes you can have this honeymoon Packaged complementary, just please give me before all the room confirmation numbers, so I can send those to the reservations department in order to give you that complementary Package.

they cant argue with something thats stated right on their dreams website. nice deal with the romantic dinner and the facial and massage!
I am a little confused here. I thought the honey money package is complementary to the bride & groom only, but this message sounds like it's for all the guests who stays at Dreams as long as the group is book 5 rooms or above for 3 nights to me? Am I getting this right??

Well i wanted to say we are leaving on April 30th for our May 2nd wedding and have not heard back from Claudia since late Feb. We have decided not to give a care anymore and sort out everything when we get there. Afterall the real reason we are going is for LOVE and everything will fall into place as it is meant to be when we arrive. Good luck to all!

complimentary for bride and groom only. you have to be there FOR your wedding or anniversary to get the "honeymoon/anniversary" package.

just wanted to share what i'm using for my "guest book" ... i rounded up a bunch of generic photos of cancun and of the resort and made an 8x8 photo book on shutterfly. the guests can sign in the margins around the pics, sort of like how you'd sign someone's school yearbook. i figure i only have around 30 people, so they don't need a lot of room to sign. i mostly wanted to do this to check out the quality of shutterfly's books for when i do my wedding album and gift albums for parents, etc. i think it cost about $25. haven't received it yet.

anyway, here it is (let me know if this doesn't work): http://share.shutterfly.com/share/re...0IZtWzhy5asnIA

if anyone wants this for themselves, i'd be happy to share and then you could just change the cover and title page to suit your wedding and be done with it, lol!

It looks Fabulous Lisa!! Very nice idea! :)
I have still not decided on my guest book yet. I really want to do the whole dry erase board, only I was going to use a digital camera and make my own guest book. However..I'm not sure I like that Idea :-(

But your looks really good! Let me know the quality of the book when it comes in as I need to find a good place to order my books from after we get our pictures back :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
