Hello everyone :0)

I am debating on having my reception at the Spa Terrace or Lobby Terrace. I would like to know if anyone can post any pictures of the Spa Terrace? Does anyone know where it is located and how it could accommodate 50 guests,  including a dance area?

In regards to the Lobby Terrace, does anyone have any photos of a wedding there. I looked at photos, but none of them had it decorated for a wedding.

I appreciate your help!! Thank you!

Yes,  my wedding date never changed!  5 o'clock on June 18th.. and my stay lasts through the 29th, so I will try to look out for your wedding!  I'll stay behind though so I don't get in your way!  Good luck!

100/99 days to go until our wedding (it's past midnight, but it doesn't feel like a new day yet since I didn't sleep yet)!!!!  I'm in the double digits!

Hello Ladies,

I'm new to this site. I've been reading many of the post's! I'm so glad I found it!!!

We have our Wedding booked for 10/21/11 on the beach. We went with the Ultimate wedding pkg. I'm trying to picture what it will look like! Is it private? Are there different beach location options? Do we have to walk through people sunbathing? Has anyone had a smaller ceremony approx. 20 guests, without a DJ after? Is there any nightlife on the property? It's probably just going to be family. So for the  20-30 somethings  to do after our dinner.  We are having a reception 2wks after we get back, so we are okay on not doing a big something there.

Can't wait to hear back!!!!  pinkie.gif

Hello! and welcome,

Congrats on picking a date and site! I am getting married there in May and this site has been a lifesaver! It helps so much and has given me so so many ideas. If you google Juan Navarro and look at his blog there is plenty of couples weddings on there from Dreams as he is the photographer you get with your ultimate package. I am having my reception on himitsu beach it is the smaller more private beach and we are getting married in the gazebo. If you click on the resort/villa section at the top of the page then look at dreams cancun there is all the reviews and pictures of the girls who recently got married there, they are so so so helpful and will give you a very good idea of what it is like. There is nightlife on the property and your also really close to all the nightclubs-coco bongos is within walking distance. Just read around the site it will give you so many ideas and tips. ENJOY and have fun planning!

Hi!  Congrats and welcome to our little (or big) Dreams Cancun family!  I see some of your questions have been answered!  We are not using a dj either.  We invested in a portable Bose sound dock.  Great quality and sound.  I took it there on a site visit and you can hear it great and it's much cheaper than the DJ for 3 hours and you can keep it.  Plus, it's great for the AHR if you don't have a DJ at your home shindig.  Good Luck and have fun!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
