Hi everyone!  Here is my review part 1.  It is quit long but my pictures take up a lot of space so I had to put it in 3 different documents.  I couldn't put very many pics of our room up because the files were too big so if you are interested in seeing them just send me a message.  The pictures that are in here are all pictures that our friends took because we haven't gotten the pictures from Juan yet except for looking at the ones on his blog and we aren't too sure how that is going to work with him.  Hopefully we will hear from him soon I have sent him an email since it has been 3 weeks since the wedding and we just want to know how this is going to work.  Enjoy!

Sorry Sheena, I can't see it either.  I don't know what else to use other than the paperclip.

Your review is fantastic!  So detailed.  A few comments and questions if you don't mind:

1.  Thanks for the info about the lights under the tables.  I was thinking of doing it but good to know it isn't needed and that you didn't really like the look.  That money can now go toward a bigger tip (as I was only thinking $100).
2.  Thank you for the price breakdown!

3.  So you got an additional 2 hours of reception for $920 for 46 people?  Did that include the DJ for an extra 2 hours?

No problem for the review, as for the lights i'm sure it does look really nice especially if they are different colours but the ones I seen were all pink and it was way too many pink tables and the price was really expensive.  The question about the DJ, i'm not too sure we didn't pay any more than what i had broken down and on our contract it just says the 920$ for additional time from 9-11 and for open bar and under the dj it just says 3 hours so i have no idea how claudia broke that down to pay them?  Hope this helps!

Thanks, We leave this Saturday. I just checked the weather and its supposed to rain..  I hope it stays nice out for a few days and hopefully get some sun the day of the wedding.

Just an FYI, some brides post reviews in this thread, but others post under the resort.  To get there you go to the "Resorts & Villas" tab at the top of the page (next to "Home" and "Forums").  From there you choose the "Riviera Maya & Cancun" link under Mexico. On the next page select the "Cancun" link, then on the following page select "Read Reviews" for Dreams Cancun (under the star rating).

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.
