seems like 3 hours will go by *really* fast ... i think you can pay (of course, haha) for additional time (but i think we'll just pack it up and head to the "free" bar when time runs out).
Yep, that's right Jodey-- that's probably why Gaby thought you were asking to have a longer reception. Jill used an iPod docking station for dinner and dancing and it worked great and she said they don't come through after 3 hours and kick you out. We'll party for a while and do what you are doing mummergirl-- head to a free bar!

Kat and dmarie, your weddings are sooooooo close!!!!!! Yay!

Thats really bad I think, so baisically they wont let us stay on the terrace from 6pm - 8pm ( dinner ) then 8pm till 11pm ( partying / dancing ) huh.gif? WTF
That means the reception will be cut short and finish at 9pm if it starts at 6pm!!! I don't want to just go to a bar at 9pm I want to be dancing till at least 11pm !!! I am quite annoyed about this. Its no skin off their nose if we stay on the terrace with the equipment till 11pm suly ?? I didn't know this was an issue. So.... is it right that if we use our IPOD and docking station for the whole event they will let us stay on the terrace untill 11pm ? I don't get what the deal is with this, no wonder Gaby hasn't got back to me straight away GGRRRRRR.

Hi Samantha, personally I wouldn't, you never know what could happen, I'm sure everything would be ok but you never know. Plus I would rather the money be in my back account for as long as possible, better in yours than someone elses or do you mean pay for it all now on a credit card or something ? If so then again it wouldn't really matter wether you pay by card now or when you arrive or am I missing what you are saying completely ??

I am not 100% sure about changing the location, but from all the messages I read on this forum, everyone who married in Dreams were able to change things here and there once they got down there.

Yes you can change the location on arrival, I have already asked this question - no worries there and yes I would say you can relax when you've done your Q & A : - )

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
