I was thinking about just using the DJ that Dreams can provide, but I read that review and now I'm not so sure. BTW, Jilly I get to Dreams on the 19th, I will be sneaking a peak at your wedding popcorn.gif

Today I hit my Two Month mark!! And tomorrow is my birthday, which I had completely forgotten about..too worried about wedding stuff right now!!
We bought an IPOD and docking station, we're only having about 25 people, so we didn't really feel the need for a DJ, I know Susan has a large group she is using the DJ.

OOOH, I'm so excited you get there on the 19th! Definetly sneak a peek and come down for a drink and introduce yourself if you want too!

What time is your wedding on sunday? I'm hoping I can catch a glimpse of yours before we leave for El Dorado, we're heading there on sunday.

We'll both get to see the wedding on saturday! I originally wanted the
20th, but it was already taken, I'm actually happy now though that its on a friday.

Happy Birthday!

Jilly's right, I am using a DJ. I was a little worried when I read Brenda's review, but I'm not even sure if it is the same company or DJ. I was able to e-mail a song list to the company about a month ago. We will also be meeting with them a few days before the wedding to go over the details. I really think they'll be great. The communication has been awesome, and they're pricey...so they better come through for us :)

Thanks Rosean!

I think I'm definitely leaning more towards having some sort of candle centerpiece rather then flowers. I'm gonna have to take a trip to Michaels and snap some pictures of what I'm looking for and then ship them off to Claudia. Hopefully my master plan will work out!

Susan, can you pls. send me the name, contact, prices of your DJ? I'm still trying to look for a DJ.

Also, how are the feedback for your photographer, Citlali. Trying to decide between a few photographers and would need opinions from other brides.

What made you ultimately go with them?

Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
