About the TTD I saw a couple do one when we were there and if you're planning on getting in the water you will have people watching so be prepared. Of course you won't draw a crowd it's not in an area like that but people are laying out around you. And it's a really rocky and unsteady walk to the lighthouse so wear flats or flip flops. We did lighthouse pics the day before the wedding and I decided against it for the day of because it took me a while to get down there and I didn't want to risk an injury, knowing my luck that would've happened. There's also a nice long pier but sometimes a boat or two is docked up to it....still could get some good pics there.

I have a question for any brides who had their reception on the beach. I am having my reception on the beach and want to put small candles around the tables that people are eating at. Did you put candles out? If so did you do real candles or the fake ones that run on batteries? Would you suggest one over the other due to wind and them blowing out?

 

I'm looking for some thoughts.

 

Also, is anyone willing to share their programs for those that did the legal ceremony there. I want to put my programs together but don't know how the ceremony is structured to get started.

My Reception wasn't on the beach....It was on the terrace and I can tell you this..not ONE of my candles stayed lit :-( I was upset because they were the main focus of my centerpieces that I made.
So if your not going to have them in one of those Hurricane vase's, then I would go with the Fake candles

I had my reception on the beach and it is windy. I don't think candles will work.

i had a legal ceremony and waited FOREVER for claudia to get back to me with the order of the ceremony, so my programs were done totally last minute. i used the order claudia gave me, and it turns out that it was incorrect anyway. we added a sand ceremony and it definitely came earlier (i think either right before or after the rings?). everything else was correct tho. here is what i had on the ceremony page of the program:
