Hello all, long time no post. Well lets see we were supposed to get married on May 2nd and had to change due to swine flu. We went on our honeymoon to Secrets Maroma Beach and May 12th anyway and now our wedding ceremony is coming up on July 31st. We are so excited and after going through the drama and stress the first time, we are just planning on doing all the planning with Claudia when we get there. Glad to hear that everyone is having wonderful experiences with everything, the only thing we are worried about is the hot weather. The ceremony is at 5pm, but it cant be any warmer than Dallas, 105 here now.

Does anyone have any idea if the lobby has open wireless access for internet at the resort? FI is a computer guy, and always go online. He'll bring his own laptop, but I heard they'll charge a certain amount of $ if we use their internet service except in the lobby. is that true?? how much would it cost if we wanna use the service? thanks

There is a "Computer Room" near the front desk. You get 15 minutes of Free internet per day on that. Not sure what you pay after that.

I brought my lap top and then I bought a prepaid card at the front desk. For 24 hours I paid $15. However, if you log off after each use, it stops the clock. I bought the card on Wednesday and still had hours left by the time I left. It was really easy.

I think it's $65.00 for the whole week. :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
