They could go in there to have a couple drinks. That is definitely the closest.

I also heard that the restaurants close 2 times a week, but I was there from Saturday to Saturday and that NEVER happened.
The Azucar bar was closed 2 times I think.
They do shut the Buffet down two times a week (Tuesday & Friday) but that is because they set the buffet out on the beach on those days.
Tuesday is the Mexican Fiesta and Friday is Carribean night. They are pretty cool nights, they have a little Market place and they have a stage set up for the shows they perform.

As far as the normal restaurants though, nothing was closed the week we went :-)
The bar in the Lobby is the Rendezvous Bar, right? I think thats that same bar that people recommended for my Welcome Drinks.

I thought there was a bar right near the Club terrace for some reason.

DH got his suit at Macy's it was Calvin Klein and looked quite nice. A kinda beigy color. My bro who walked me down the aisle just wore beige linen pants and a white short sleeve linen shirt. I think my SIL got them at Kohl's. I have actually seen a few shirts there that would be totally acceptable. If you wanna make people spend a little more go for Tommy Bahama shirts at Macy's
Hi Destination!!!!! I am unbanned!!! :) If you can post the pics of your floral arrangement/table setup, that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The Bar I was referring to is in the Lobby of the Tower.
Right where the Club Terrace is. It's directly trhough the doors and would probably be a great place for drinks before the reception :-)

The Rendevous bar is in the Main lobby (near the front desk & Etc..)
We loved it there and often wound up back there every night just to chat & drink. They had a a really good singer in there most nights.

Def ask for double or triple shots, however...Get to know your bartenders, treat them well & they will get to know you. Believe me, you won't need to ASK for doubles & triples, they will just give it to you :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
