Good luck with everything! The package through Orbitz does have 1 stop. That's the only downfall. It might be worth it to the save the money for some people though.

BTW..hubby got montezumas revenge BAD!!! He is an ice eater!! He eats ice like most people chew gum. The only time we ventured off and consumed beverages was Coco Bongo and Jungle Cruise (only bottled water but who knows if it was refilled). No one else got sick in the group. Just an FYI..don't eat the freaking ice. I would assume it would go without saying but he is stubborn!

they won't let your reception go past 11pm on the beach or tower terrace. might be a possibility in the ballroom since you wouldn't be disturbing resort guests there? either way, adding extra hours can get pretty pricey.

lisa i have been logging on everyday at lunch to read ure review!!! popcorn.gif

Coco Bongo was 70.00 per person so that was too ridiculous for us--
It was only $50/person when we went. If you have a group, you have more room for bargaining. We ended up buying 3 bottles of liquor and getting a private table and skipping the all you can drink.

More questions from me!!! :) I am having a very small group. 14 guests plus us. Does anyone have any recommendations about table arrangements? Cecilia sent me different ways to set up the tables but I was curious if anyone had advice if they had a small group and/or pictures to give me a visual! I am a visual learner! :)

Also.... would you include place cards with such a small group? Thanks!

i think we are going to have 15-20 guests and we are doing one long rectangular table on the club terrace and sit with our guests. i like this set up the best because everyone is sitting together as one group. i have some pictures of that set up as well as the smaller tables- send me your email address and ill send those pics to u :) i think place cards are apprpriate

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
