I've found that most brides want friday or saturday. I think a weekday will be your best chance for not having other weddings, but sundays aren't as popular as fri & sat.

I am soo optimistic at this point. The news this am was great! Businesses and schools in Mexico City are opening back up and they say the Flu is not as bad as originally thought to be. I am so glad that I have you all to share this with. No matter what my friends say, they REALLY do not understand how difficult this is for us. I hope all of you May brides hang in there! I think you may be pleasantly surprise!

One of our suitcases was actually over the weight limit on the way home and we had to pay an extra $50 bucks. The dress code is definitely not over the top.
Does anyone know if there is any kind of laundry service available at Dreams? That would be great for packing less stuff; I tend to overpack on the basis of being a total clutz and planning for spills! LOL. How many bathing suits will I need for 7 days?

i have to say i've been down on my TA but she really has been rocking out this week! she basically went thru the trouble of canceling and rebooking all of our rooms in order to get us all the $250 resort credit that is now offered, lol! punk.gif

i am scrambling to get crap done ... just made my escort cards and busted out a last-minute DIY (bookmarks) just to have something else to put in the OOT bags.

so since claudia never answered me, if i am having the buffet, how many choices do we get? is it 3 items from each course, or 3 entree choices but only 1 choice from each other course?

Lisa...It;s almost time!! YAY I'm so excited for you.

As you can see, I am back! LOL Un-Banned Officially! :)

When do you leave?

& All I have to say about this Swine Flu is...Where the hell was it when we booked our trip?? The prices have gone down for sure. I'm not sure if it's because of the Swine Flu, or if the AirFare has dropped, but either way, my last minute people are getting great deals!

just listened to my walking down the aisle tune and got all choked up and nervous, lol ... holy crap this is really gonna happen in a few weeks!!!

for the legal ceremony at dreams, do you sign the wedding certificate as part of the actual ceremony? and do you sign your name, or your new, married name? LOL dumbest question ever, but i had to ask (hey, i've never done this before)! and i blame all stupidity on wedding-brain!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
