Dreams Cancun - Questions for those married here!

Recommended Posts

I would like to know if anyone has info on the golf that is included with the resort. My FH loves to golf and I really don't have much to tell him. Any info would help.

THANKS LADIES.

P.S. MC5363 I would love to see what your brochure looks like. I want to do one for the OOT bags too, but it seems a bit overwhelming!

There are two golf courses that are included for all Dreams guests. They are actually really nice golf courses that are quite expensive to golf at so that is a big perk. My FI and most of the guys coming love to golf so they are thrilled. You do have to pay for cart rental, but that is only $35. Not bad for a round of golf on a course that usually charges upwards of $200. Here's the link to the golf info: Dreams Cancun Resorts & Spas: Golf

As for the itinerary/brochure, I just started this so you'll have to forgive the state it's in. I attached my rough draft, which you can manipulate to fit your needs. It is a brochure style that will be folded in thirds with printing on both sides. I'd love to see what you come up with if yo uchange it around!

anyway, here it is (let me know if this doesn't work): http://share.shutterfly.com/share/re...0IZtWzhy5asnIA

if anyone wants this for themselves, i'd be happy to share and then you could just change the cover and title page to suit your wedding and be done with it, lol!

Im so sad and going crazy.... I have heard that we are at 4 right now on a scale of one to 5. If this warning moves up to 5 they are not allowing anyone to fly out into Mexico for three months or until the whole virus clears up..

I am planning on leaving after Mothers Day and Im completely freaking out now. No stress up until now.

And whats most annoying is everyone emailing me about this like I dont know its soo annoying~!!!

This is so awful (swine flu). I am suppose to be flying out from the UK on the 23rd June. It does not seem very hopeful. They have already started cancelling the flights from here today!!!!

I am not sure what to do, whether to contact the tour operator and see what the options are. Do we just cancel wedding or do we change destination? What is everyone else planning doing??

What a nightmare this is all becoming!!!!!

I am also very nervous about the swine flu and hate that everyone keeps emailing me like I know more than they do. Between the violence and now this, I really don't know what to do. It is so sad that we may have to start all over again with all the planning. I thought I found the perfect place for my wedding. What to dohuh.gif??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
