This cake is beautiful! Did you bring the cake topper from home or did you get it from Claudia?

Oh, and one more question-- I really like cake #2 in the VIP cakes, but I like it mostly because of the flowers.. Do the cakes come exactly like they look in the pictures? I emailed Claudia and asked but she never replied--and I asked for a clearer picture of the flowers on the cake because maybe I could just have matching bouquets...

There were so many different flowers on the other cakes so you may be able to get what you like. But if you don't mind the flowers coming from your own bouquet I would do that. I can't remember what the exact prices were for the upgraded cake but it was a little steep and to me not worth it.
Hey Angel, Did you do your review yet??
I would love to hear all the more recent reviews since my date is fast approaching :) smile29.gif

Michelle, There was a girl on here named Dawn. She got married a few days before me and we ended up becoming really good friends. She left that cake topper for me and I used it after she did. As far as I know they still have it. I left it there.

You can pretty much do whatever you want with the flowers. They are pretty flexible. I really didn't plan anything until I got down there and had my meeting with Claudia.

That cake topper should be a heirloom to this site. I say we vote to pass it on from generation to generation! hahah I would love to see where that cake topper is in 3 years from today. hahahapopcorn.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
