1. can anyone post pics of options of where to have dinner/reception and recommendations?

2. is dinner party/reception the same or do you pay extra for "reception?"

Thanks in advance!
hey cubsfan, sounds like you are in the early stages of wedding planning :)

If you private message me your email, I can forward you pictures of all the reception/dinner places. There is the club terrace which is what I decided on, the tower lobby, the ballroom and the beach. I have pictures of all of them and can send them to you.

and yes the dinner is the reception- you can pick your menu and also rent music equipment for dancing.

let me know if you have any other questionsmuscle.gif

when are you getting married?

hey girls, I have a question..

the dreams of love package states that you recieve the 'honeymoon package' right. then under the honeymoon packages, the website states this:

DREAMS ETERNITY HONEYMOON PACKAGE

Selling Price $769 USD

This complimentary package includes:

Champagne on arrival

Fresh flowers and exotic fruit platter in room upon arrival

Champagne breakfast in bed the first morning after arrival

Tension Release Massage for two in our couple massage suite room at the Spa (25 minutes per each)

Choice of either an European Facial or a Salt Glow Scrub body treatment (25 minutes) for each person

Private beachfront dinner one evening upon return from dinner you will find a romantic rose petal path and lighted candles in a specially set atmosphere for you (includes 1 bottle of domestic wine and silver menu)

Private petit fours each evening at turn down service

20% discount when returning before or during the first anniversary (minimum 4 nights stay)

Silver framed photo of choice from stay*

*We want our honeymooning couples to treasure their special trip forever! So, as our special gift to honeymooning guests who stay a minimum of seven nights, we will provide them with a framed memory of their choice in a silver, Dreams photo frame. Click here to upload your photo.

This package is complimentary when booking a Honeymoon Suite category or higher for a minimum of 7 nights or if 5 rooms are reserved for a minimum of 3 nights at any room category.

.....so the last part says that this package is complimentary when booking a minimum of any 5 rooms for 3 nights right..so all brides with more than 5 guests stayin for a week should be getting the champage breakfast in bed and the body treatment at the spa AND the private, romantic beach dinner for 2 right?

that sounds awesome..have you past brides been getting all thishuh.gif

hopefully im reading that right and we all get these fabulous things :)

The honeymoon package included in the wedding package is this one:

DREAMS HONEYMOON & ANNIVERSARY PACKAGE

This complimentary package includes:

Welcome letter

Plate of tropical fruit

One bottle of champagne

Champagne breakfast in bed (Reservations must be made in advance with guest service)

Special turn down service

Also, I wanted to let you ladies know that I've been working hard to put together an overview of the resorts I'm working with along with pictures and all of the files (bouquets, cakes, etc...) that go along with each resort. I've saved dreams cancun for last because we already have so much information here, but once I have a chance to finish it up and post it, I'll let you all know. Hopefully it will be helpful for all of you and future brides to have everything all together in one thread, without 2000 posts to go through to find what you're looking for.

thanks jill :) i have another question for you now, lol wink.gif

how do you book the honeymoon suite and how much does it cost a night?? i went to a travel agent and have looked at various websites and their packages and have never seen the jacuzzi junior suite or the honeymoon suite as one of the room options. they either list a garden/dolphin and/or ocean view room in the pyramid or an ocean view room in the club tower. i want to get a suite in the tower for the extra room but havent seen the room rates for this or the honeymoon suite advertised anywhere. Does the hotel upgrade you to this suite?

thanks again, you girls are great

Hi Sunita,

It may be that the none of those rooms are available for the dates you are looking, especially if you're looking on sites like orbitz or travelocity, a lot of times they don't have as many rooms available and may only have one specific type of room.

I'll send you a pm with some prices

sunita, once I post all the dreams cancun stuff in one place, maybe you could post the files you have there, or email to me and I will, whichever is easiest. I think I have most of the current files, but you may have some additional ones that Claudia didn't send to me. I will let you know once I post it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
