Just have some questions for past brides. One- what are your guys thoughts on the best room to stay? Deciding between the ocean and dolphin view in the pyramid building, the junior jacuzzi suite, and the ocean view in the club tower? is the club tower worth staying at because of the private beach and pool?

also, have been looking at photographers and really like Diego from Sol photography. Has anyone used him before?

:)
Welcome and congratulations!!! We stayed in the Presidential Suite in the Pyramid and loved it but if we go back we would stay in the jacuzzi suite in the tower. Some of our friends stayed in that room and the view is breath taking. It does not matter if you stay in the tower or not, everyone can use the pool and beach there. Though it is a lot less crowded.

We had Citlalli from Claudia Rodriguez's group for a photographer and loved her and our pics!!

Hope this helps a little bit!

Hello all!!

So we have booked the One Bedroom Master Suite....And I originally wanted it because I had 5 brides maids and 3 juniors...But since the economy sucks ass...My brother, sister in-law ad my 2 neices aren't coming...So my brides maids are down to 3 with one junior (abother bridesmaid already had to cancel because she lost her job)

But I know we all had this stuff happen and honestly I feel bad for people more then I feel bad about them missing our wedding.

Anyway...My point was....I was thinking of getting rid of the room we booked and just going for the junior jacuzzi suite, which i think is a little smaller, but who cares now....

Has anyone gotten the one bedroom master suite? Is it nice? I always hear about the junior jacuzzi :-)

Thanks Brides!!
I emailed you the pictures. let me know if there is anything else. We actually decided on the 1 bedroom Master Jacuzzi Suite. I hear that the Jr Jacuzzi suites are just as nice and very roomy. I just wanted the extra space.

Thanks. Just an FYI for next year. Snapfish makes it really easy and they send your design straight to Walgreens to pick up so you can get them the same day. Pretty cool lolrockon.gif

you said it, sister!

we're not really sure who's coming anymore. i'm considering trying to find a polite way to suggest to my bridesmaids that they can opt out of their duties if they'd like, since it's looking like tom isn't going to have any guys other than a best man. none of them have ordered dresses yet anyway, just not sure if they might be insulted.

Yeah...I hear that. My FI may not even have his best man there. It's a long story..But I have a feeling we may have to have his stepdad step in (no pun intended..LOL) and be his best man that day. My brother in law will also be up there with him, but they aren't Best Man close.

I would just be honest with your Bridesmaids, tell them we all know the economy is bad and you wouldn't be hurt if they couldn't come.
I had to say something similar to one of my BM's...She totally can't afford it, but her and I have been friends since we were 3 and she was like, I wanna see you get married...I had to convince her that there is no way she can make it...She has 2 kids and she just lost her job, I mean...My Wedding is important, but your everyday living is more important, Ya kno?
Anyway....They may Appreciate the fact that your ok with it.
I feel so bad about having my Wedding in Mexico now, And I know I shouldn't...But now that my brother can't come and my neices, I really feel like crap :-(
It doesn't matter now.I have 9 people booked and I estimate to have a total of around 20...That's a nice comfy crowd :-) And there is the video and Pictures for everyone else to see!! :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
