about the video...does it have music to go with it?? Are we suppose to bring the music?

Also a question about the rooms....is there a belcony in the tower rooms? And has anyone stayed in the pyramid building if so how are those rooms?? Thanks a bunch!!!!

Hey there, I sent Gaby a similar email today. She sent a copy of the contract she made up (with several mistakes on it including misspelled words and such.) Nonetheless, I finally sent her an email back stating that we are not using the photographer there because we were planning on flying in our own (which we still have yet to decide.) But I pretty much demanded in a nice and polite manner that we get the sound system for the ceremony for free and asked her how many meals they could credit us in exchange for us not using their photographer. Ill let you know how she responds when she finally does respond. But you are right, the drapery is not a comparable value at all. However, if you price everything on the Ultimate Package "a la carte," it comes out to well over the $2650 they charge.

I would love to know about what they say about flying over photographers too! I've just been to a friend's wedding, and really like her photographer, now wonder if I can fly mine to Dreams too!

Id like to tell these people, "Listen, if you dont like it then Ill just take my business elsewhere!!!" But, I really dont want to make a threat Im not prepared to uphold. We really want to get married at Dreams Cancun, but dont necissarily want to follow all their rules. Plus, we have already told all our family and friends where we are getting married, so we cant really change that now.

Yes, the video has music. He used the song I walked down the aisle to, the song we walked out to, and then a random song.

Had I known that he was going to use music I would have asked him to use our wedding song instead of the random song, but no big deal, it still turned out far better then I had hoped, so we were really happy with it. I actually had completely forgotten about the video until half way through the ceremony when I noticed him, lol! You could probably just write down the songs you wanted used and then give them to him before he leaves, I'm sure he could use whatever you wanted, as long as he has the song.
