The other was 50-60 people, with a tower lobby/terrace reception. My mom thought this was a very nice set-up as the tower lobby is completely open to the terrace. It was very windy while they were there, and this way people could eat out of the wind. The pics were taken during set-up, before all decor was complete, but at least you can kind of get an idea of some options.
Hope this helps,
Susan

Thank you so much for the pics! I am trying to decide between the garden and the terrace; the more pictures, the better!

What are you ladies doing about flowers? Are you picking them when you get there? Sending pics and getting quotes from Claudia? Or are you using an outside vendor? Now that the BM dresses are finally chosen...my latest obsession is the flowers!

Here a pics of the color of the BM dresses (girls picked between a few different styles depending on preference/body type). I really like the color, and want flowers that will accent. I tend to like bright flowers (think they look good in pics). I'm still think of a bright pink/fucshia color for flowers. What do you think? Any other suggestions?

Susan, I think bright pink/fuschia flowers will look fabulous with those dresses! I wanted to get that color for our daughter to wear, but we ended finding a cute dress for her, at a good price in a light pink, so she'll still carry bright pink flowers.

I'm just going to wait until we get there to choose the flowers. I saw some bouquets that I liked in the file claudia sent, so I'm sure I can pick something I'll be happy with when I get there. I'm probably going to do roses.

Did you see any bouquets in the file that you liked? If you didn't then I would say start finding pics of what you like and email to claudia so she can get you a quote. But if you saw some that you liked then just wait until you get there, one less thing to worry about.

I hope this works.
It did! Thanks for posting these.

Does anyone know where a dance floor would be if you have your reception in the Club terrace?

thanks for posting the pictures!

Paula, I'm not sure about the dance floor on the terrace, I'm deciding between the terrace and the garden. If we do the garden I think we'll just dance in the grass, we're not having that many people that it will really matter.

Thanks Jill. I have emailed Claudia, hopefully I will hear from her soon.

Paula-

I think we are going to do the reception on the terrace/in the Club Tower lobby as well. I was thinking about clearing out the tables and using the terrace (which we will also use for cocktail hour) for the DJ set-up and dance floor, and leaving the tables that are set up more in the inside part for those that need a break from dancing.

I hope that will work,

Susan

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
