Also if i book in Jan is that enough time for the resort?
Yep, only issue would be if your exact date you wanted is available so you may have to be flexible with dates. Obviously the sooner you can book the better but I dont think that is a huge deal. Maybe shoot them an email asking what the October 2009 availability looks like now.

Are we supposed to get a gift for our WC? Gaby has been really helpful in answering all of my questions so she definitely deserves something. I'm not sure if thats proper though? What do you guys think?

Also, are any of you doing flowers from Dreams or is everyone bringing their own in? I really don't like any of the flowers that they have on their option list but don't want to pay extra. What is everyone else doing?

Dawn, they will work with you somewhat on the flowers. If you can find something that sort of resembles what you want and then tell them the colors or flowers you want they might be able to do it. Unless you want flowers that are more expensive, then they will probably have to charge you extra.

Lots of people do a gift or some cash I've read. i'll probably do a thank you card with some $$$. I'll bring a little gift if I have the space but I highly doubt that and who doesn't love getting $$$.

I booked my wedding in February08 for a June 09 wedding. My first 3 wedding dated were already booked! Depends on the time of year, if you want a weekend, etc...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
