LMAO! I may be staying in a suite, but YOU are staying TWO WEEKS! honestly i would have rather spent more time at dreams or taken a short cruise for a honeymoon, than spend the money on the room upgrade, but tom couldn't take any additional time off from school.

The floor we were on had the windows, but the two big windows in the middle slide open, so you can definitely still get an outdoor feel, but can close it at night to keep the wind out. The floors up above us looked like they were just wide open, I don't think they had the glass.

is the bed area separated from the rest like a separate room, or at least a wall between? that's one thing my fiance really wanted was a separate room. i really didn't care, but i definitely wanted a jacuzzi, haha! and i wanted a tub, not just a shower. we're both pretty large people (note my biggest loser siggy), and probably couldn't shower together in a stall, haha!
The room is sort of like a 'Y' shape, the hallway is the stem of the Y, the dining area is sort of at the top of the stem, the living room is the right side of the Y and then the bedroom is the left side of the Y. The bed is sort of in a different section, there isn't a wall or anything but I thought it felt pretty seperate. We had a bunch of our guests in our room one night to watch the Sox in the playoffs and we had plenty of space in the living/dining area that no one was even near the bed section. And the bathroom is huge, huge tub and shower, one thing I hated about the shower is that there is no curtain, there is a small section of glass, near the shower head, but it doesn't extend the whole way, it was sort of annoying!

that's kinda weird about the shower!

i guess the Y shape will have to do ... we already spent enough on our room, haha!

Does anyone have photos of the ocean trampoline or the bungy thing? Or how about photos from shows/entertainment at Dreams? Everyone keeps saying how there's "so much to do" at Dreams but all I ever see pictures of is the tiny infinity pool.

Also, we booked the Preferred Club (tower) Jr. Jacuzzi Suite ... anyone have photos of these suites?

Yeah I know lol that is costing us a fortune honestly its like over $7000 but I was determined to be in the tower so that his mother couldn't come anywhere near me lol the TA has even requested a room as far away from the Tower as poss and if they upgrade her to the tower i'm gonna kill someone lmao

I'd have loved the jacuzzi suite but it wasn't gonna happen lol

yeah i mostly just wanted to be in the tower. someone needed to have a room there because i want an overhead photo of everyone attending my wedding! i'd prefer not to be right next door to family either ... it is afterall our honeymoon as well and there might be ... um ... noises coming from our room? LMAO

with having to be there 4 days to be legal, everyone will be with us during our entire stay ... i really would have liked at least a day or two just the two of us, ya know?

The only noises coming from our room will be bloody snoring if I know my delightful FI lmao i swear he's frigid pmsl

And yeah i know there are at least 5 people there for the full 2 weeks!! one of my mates just rang me out of the blue and said she is defo coming for 5 days but she is flying for a full day to get here!! she lives closer to the airport than me but her hubby is an arse and wont take her kids out of school, they will be 6 and 3!!! so they're coming on their own for 5 days!! mental lol she must feel proper guilt lmao

But as we are in the tower i'm just telling them its private (which it actually is) and they can't go have brekkie or anything else there lol FI already said if his mother bangs on our door or organises anything she's getting told to piss off lmao happy families lmao smile105.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
