I had bought a veil and had every intention of wearing it, but once I got there and saw how windy it was, I didn't even attempt it.

If I had to guess, I would think a longer one might be easier because you could have whoever walks you down the aisle kind of hold it behind your back or around their arm.

Paula will probably be able to give you better advice because she wore hers.

HI! Checking in for a second...
I am not sure. My veil, as long as it was, came forward and my dad grabbed a hold of it and is holding it behind his back.
During the ceremony we tried tucking it under my arm a little and during most pictures it was tucked in the back of my dress a bit.
If it were short I don't think I could have done that.
I would suggest trying the walk when you arae there.
I was married in February and Jill in October and we both thought it was too windy. (Yes I am stubborn).

I don't think that we are going to use the mariachi band but I wanted to post this picture. I'm not sure if Daniella sent it to me or what but it just makes me laugh... I don't really know why, but every time I look at it, I just crack up! Click the image to open in full size.

Is it just me?! Maybe I should lay off the caffeine!

I've decided to change my destination to Cancun instead of Los Cabos, the hotel seems to have a lot more options but only thing is they don't allow outside vendors. I might stick with the sound system and IPOD system, but what did you gals use for the ceremony? I'm having to cut a lot of things to make sure I stay within my budget.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
