Hi Lucy, I would also like to do the meal for two on the beach maybe the day after the wedding, I'm not sure on the price of this either but if I found out I will let you know, if anyone does know anything about this it would be great to hear from them !

Hi Kristi, By the sounds of thing it is alot easier to get married legally at home and have the ceremony in Mexico because of the blood tests and legal documents ect... but we're opting for the legal ceremony, which is a little nerve racking but personally I feel that if we get married in the UK first it could take away some of the excitment although I think it was Jilly that said they got married first and she didn't feel any less excited, I just hope the blood tests go ok, we have no reason to be worried but its such a big deal IF there was something wrong, I think I'm worrying for nothing, if there was a problem you can not go ahead with the ceremony so it would be a big waste of time and money huh.gif

I think the only pictures I have of the gazebo are the few I took at night, I don't think I took any others, sorry!

Initially, I was going to do a legal ceremony, but due to date availability, I could only get a Sunday date (only symbolic ceremonies). We decided to go for it since it was only 1 day later than our desired date and we really wanted DC. Turns out, I think it will be a blessing in disguise since we don't have to be there 4 days earlier and can spend more time after the ceremony in Cancun.

We are doing the legal ceremony in Mexico. Yes it costs a little more and yes its a little bit more work but we wanted it all to be there! Guess its just all personal preference.

Hi Lucy, Do you still have to have the blood test with you being from the U.S ? I don't know why I'm stressing about this because there really shouldn't be any problems, I think its the fact that if there were any problems it couldn't go ahead and this really scares me

I filled out the wedding request form on the dreams cancun website a couple of days ago. I still have not heard back from anyone there. The wedding is not until April 25,2009 but I would like to book this date before it gets filled up, if it has not already. Does anyone have a direct email to the wedding consultant? I dont know if they got my inquiry or if my request is lost somewhere out on the web :)

Also, how do I earn points so that I can open up attachments. I have seen some pretty cool ideas for the OOT bags and lots of info on the dreams packages but I can not open any attachments.

Diana

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
