That is such a neat idea to have a brunch. I only have about 15 people attending as well and I was wondering how I should arrange a welcome dinner but a welcome brunch sound fab!

Does anyone know how much they charge for a rehearsal? I figured we could just dine out afterwards I dont need to plan it.

I wish I would have done a site visit. My wedding is April 27th and I am extremely nervous since I have never been their before (I usually prefer palace resorts but I fell in love with the gaezbo).

My wedding is very intimate and small, how are they will smaller weddings? Do you still receive the same attention as a larger wedding? Anyone?

Unless things have changed, the per person price for the rehearsal dinner is $15 + tax & tip = ~$19/pp.  Some brides have definitely just shown up to a restaurant after the rehearsal and worst case your group has to wait a while.  I plan on just paying for the rehearsal dinner because I don't want the stress of having everyone waiting for an unknown period of time.  Sadly, I would rather pay the money than have the stress.

Reading the earlier threads it seems like their was another W.C named Claudia Cantillo at Dreams Cancun.  Also when you go on their website Caludia Cantillo comes up as the W.C.

I also hope Cecilia is has good as they say! keeping my fingers crossed She's been replying to my emails pretty quickly.

Claudia is still there. That's who I'm working with. I think they are all pretty great, although they can definitely be sloooow to respond. I've had times where she will answer same day, and times I've had to wait 2 weeks. If I hadn't found this site and seen the reviews of the beautiful weddings that some of these girls have had, I would be a nutcase stressing about response times from them!!

Yay! We are super close! Thank you (and Leigh!!) for your help with the appointments. They had told me back in July that I should book 2 weeks in advance for hair/makeup, so I was in a panic for a few days when I saw how far in advance you guys had your appointments! They told me that they have 3 stylists and so book 3 girls at a time. We have 7 and are booked from 12 noon through 2pm for my ceremony at 4:30.

Here is the address:  [email protected] Also, some people were asking about Christian....  He is the one that responded, not sure if it is the same one. :)

19 days and counting down!!  I can't believe it!! What is everyone getting their bridesmaids for gifts??  I am treating my girls to a spa manicure and pedicure on Friday morning, but I still wanted to get them a little something else.  But I defiantly want it to be something they will use.  I was thinking about cute pj's that are all kind of "matchy" and we can all wear them while we are getting ready...  I don't know.  This is hard, since it has to be something easy to travel with!!  Let me know if you have any ideas!  Thanks.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
