I agree, they are beautiful.

I do have to say though that I LOVE Juan's photos, and after reading the threads about still being able to have him be our photographer, being that we booked FEB13th.

Cecilia informed me that it didn't mean we were quarenteed to have him. So I have been a bit worried, being that we are on a pretty fixed budget and won't be able to pay extra for his services.

As I really can't imagine having to pack any more than I am already bringing down, I am just going to buy floral centerpieces from the resort.

Last October my travel agent sent me a file with pictures of centerpieces and a separate file with prices.  I am sure the prices will have gone up, but I really liked one of the pictures from the resort: (my colors are more neutral - light blue and navy blue - so I think these vibrant colors will look good on the tables)(and I want these same flowers for my bouquet)

price:  $68 + 11% tax = $75.48

If anyone would like the files I got from my travel agent, just send me a PM with your email address.  But do realize that the price list is a year or two old, so the prices may have changed.

Wow...Those are gorgeous! Those actually look like the same floweres I am going to be using for my bouquet.  Love em!

We are on a pretty tight budget, so I decided to bring my own flowers for our aisle on the sand and for our canopy... but thats it!!! LOL I love REAL flowers to much, and

will have plenty at our reception back home. Saving $800!

Thank you so much for the info about the photographer.  I'm a little nervous about adventure and I don't want to be cheap when it comes to our photos but if I can save the money that would be great.  I love that centerpiece and those colors! So many choices and so little time!

I am so glad for the info about the new photographers, thank you!! I was really worried, especially because we booked right after the switch happened and I was already so excited about Juan. Seeing some of their actual work was a relief!

I love the tropical flower centerpieces! I haven't even gotten that far with figuring ours out. Claudia said they provide candles, and I asked her if she had vases that we could use and she said yes. I guess I need to start putting some thought into these since I'm now less than 100 days away.....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
