Hi Ladies,

I can't seem to find any pictures of what the beach in front of Himitsu Restaurant looks like or a Reception on the Terrace. Does anyone have any photos, or know where I may be able to find some? We are planning on a Beachfront wedding but wish we had more of a visual of what our choices were. We aren't expecting more than 30 ppl and want to have it as intimate as possible.  Thank you so so much!!!!

this is so messed up, i'm trying to type this last, but it won't let me go back to where I left off, so i have to go here... just wanted to say the jacuzzi pic is first.    the pics of the jacuzzi jr suite are becauause someone

had asked for them    ah, this new forum sometimes does not work with my computer, there's no cursor as i type.  ......

here are two views of a himitsu reception that a fellow DW bride shared with me.  Underneath are some veiws of a jacuzzi jr suite.  I was given a tour last year of some rooms and I actually have a mini review up in the old review section with many more pics.  The views i posted are of the living area, the bed area, the patio/balcony, and the jacuzziDSC06143.JPG

Those pictures are great! I have a question, does anyone know how far in advance I would book an area for my reception? I have a travel agent we have been going to since January. I'm still waiting to sign the contract, there has been lots of stress to say the least! We put a down payment on the trip itself and I'm just worried that everything is taking so long I hope it all works out.  My weddding date is Nov. 10, 2011.  I just looked up my trip on Expedia and saw that it was like $1,000 cheaper than booking through my agent who works for Apple Vacations.  I know for sure this is where I want my wedding I just wish it wold go a little smoother for the process. I am doing the legal ceremony so if anyone has any information or tips about this process please sent them my way.  I know that the legal process is a little more money but if I'm going to go all the way to Mexico I want the real thing.  I just want one date to remember! I have emailed the WC at Dreams so I know I have the date and I'm supposed to sign the papers this week.  Hopefully my travel agent will be more helpful in the months to come because I know she is booking lots of weddings for Dreams Resorts, maybe to many since I've been waiting forever to sign this contract!

For booking the site for reception I just told Claudia what I wanted when I signed the contract and in the contract it states where I wanted my wedding. I think once you get closer it gets a little better, i signed my contract in January and since about Feb its been lots of info and we are getting married the end of may.

Goodness I hear ya on the Apple Vacation thing. I was trying to see if it would be easier to book both of our family's as well as ourselves through them, and man did was such a mess just trying to get someone on the phone pleasant enough or patient enough to get all the reservation quotes!!!  Luckily we booked our wedding and gave our deposit without Directly through Dreams. Honestly, I'm not for sure for sure, but I'm thinking that,  that is how you reserve your date, time, location, etc. Have you called Dreams Directly, and spoken to Claudia or Cecillia?? I'm sure one of them would put your mind at ease...

WIshing you less stress...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
