Dreams Cancun - Questions for those married here!

Does anyone have a complete script for the symbolic ceremony? Cecilia sent me one but it was more of an outline than a script.

I'm realizing I have so much to do and only 3 weeks to do it in! Yikes, I'll be on here a lot! :)

i got the outline type as well and from looking back through this thread it seems like that's the one people post.

I actually wrote mine using this thread

http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...-script-21660/

I honestly read through all of them and copied/pasted the parts I liked as I was going along. Then arranged/added/took away certain things. It took a couple of hours and I go back and read it every now and then and make adjustments.

I'm glad I did it this way b/c FI and I aren't religious but we still wanted something spiritual...I love our script :)

I am staying in Cancun on the 12th-19th, and I am staying at Dreams on the 15th. We decided not to stay there on a Fri-Sun since most weddings are happening then and I didn't want to boggle down Claudia. Will you still be there. We can meet up at the swing bar or something. Although, you might be too busy honeymooning ;-)

Hey Ladies - Sorry to barge in on the forum. But I am looking to have my wedding in Cancun, preferably at Dreams! And I was wondering if anyone could share their budgets/prices. The wedding planner there hasnt gotten back to me and I would hate to leave a deposit if I ultimately cant afford the place. Any help would be appreciated!

the pricing is on their website. it really depends on what package you choose. also remember to include your accomadation costs in your budget. I would definately recommend talking to a travel agent, everyone knows how much I love TA Jill. She's from this site and works with the Dreams resorts.

Good luck with everything!

hey ladies, I was going through my paper work and the ultimate package includes a massage and also includes the honeymoon package. now the HM package also includes a massage...so my question is, if you don't want both, can you get some type of credit towards something else? i know the couples massage is $225, this would definately help in some other area, gazebo decor, center pieces, etc.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
