Yes the video is of the whole ceremony, which you can here. It is pretty windy, but you can still hear everything just fine.

That's great to know! We are going to play the video at our AHR so I was going to request that they didn't put music during the ceremony but if they already don't then I don't have to worry about it.

I think this might have been asked before but we are going to be choosing the menu soon. I have some pretty fussy eaters in the family. The one who eats basically just meat and potatos and no herbs / spices or anything I have bascially told them they will need to go to the buffet prior to the wedding. I have one guest though that is alergic to seafood, so I am hoping Cecilia allows me to do a different plate for him. Does anyone have photos of the food though they can share so we can some ideas? I've tried to go through some of the reviews and dont see any...... any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tors

Vegetarian is free if it's really veggies, if vegetarian means seafood, then it's additional (depending on your plan).

Does anyone know if the buffet style is MANDATORY if you have over a certain number of guests? I know it's "available" if over 40, but not sure if we have to have it. I like the idea of sit down better I think.

When i asked Cecilia about the plated dinner for 40 she told me no way....mostly because it takes a longer time to serve (although i dont really understand that) and that by the time dinner was fully done, your reception would be half over....this was pretty upsetting for me since im not a fan of buffets, but its a small price to pay i guess!

question for all my fellow Dreams brides...... for those who have already been married at Dreams Cancun, did you wear a veil? Im still debating if i want to wear one because I dont want it blowing all over the place but it seems like its really windy there! Im gettin married on the beach and if i do go with a veil its gonna be a cathderal veil. Although Im ok with the idea of just wearing flowers in my hair, but at the same time I really feel like a bride with the veil?! so confused! sad.gif

Did you ladies wear veils? Do you recommend I wear a veil?

I'm not wearing a veil, but in past posts there have been girls who have worn them and have said it is VERY windy & the veil was flying around alot. Maybe wear the flowers for the ceremony & put the veil on for photos??

I also have a question. We are using the resort photog for our pictures of the wedding day and it is included in the package we are getting. I'm wondering if it is just his & the videographers time that is included in the package or do you get pictures & the video as well....or is it extra to purchase the pics & vid??

Thanks!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
