What to do with these favor things?

Recommended Posts

that such a cute idea, are you planning on telling everyone how you've been doing that since you were little. i think that's sweet. I would either do them as place settings like someone mentioned or put the sand in them yourself and stick them in oot bags. I really like the idea someone mentioned about filling them up together at your wedding. Is your ceremony or reception on the beach?

I read that in Mexico it is illegal for you to bring anything like that back from the beach. I am not sure about other locations though.... Carla wink.gif

I brought back sand from St. Lucia last year and my brother brought back sand from Kenya a few years ago. I would think it's fine, but who knows. I guess they could be worried about bringing little bugs into the country of something.

We have the same colors it looks like too. From all the other posts, we def need to compare notes!!!
I got them off e-bay. I'll try and find the seller's name.

Here it is: iwuvgordon

Check out my blog...most of my notes are in there. If you have 30 guests or less, I'll have plenty to offer for sale when I get back!

I promise I will find time to post my planning thread before I leave. I'm moving my office and am supposed to be out by tomorrow then am taking the rest of the week off. As you can see, I'm really not being productive or much help moving! LOL

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
