Question regarding connecting flight w/in the US to Mexico...

We are flying out of DFW (Dallas) with a connecting flight in Denver to Puerto Vallarta. Should we treat this like it is an international flight and arrive 2+ hours ahead of time? Our flight departs from DFW to Denver at 6:45 AM so the later we have to wake up the better. If we need to be there at 4:45am we will, but obviously would rather sleep in a little longer.

We have tried calling the airline (Frontier) a few times today but have not been able to reach anyone. We will try again tomorrow and if we don't hear anything we will just go on the safe side and arrive early.

if you are connecting to an intl flight on the same carrier, we advise you check in 2 hrs prior due to needing the extra time to enter your passprt info, etc. if you have already called ahead of time to do that, then you could give yourself less time. the main thing to remember about any check in advisory is that the amount of time is based on how long the airline thinks it will take you to get thru security, not necessarily the amount of time you will need to actually check in.

basically, if you are able to do web check-in, and if you've already called to get your passport info entered, just show up long enough to get your bags checked and wait in security.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
