      love all the Moon Palace bride replies--getting married there myself 5/23/09. any info is greatly appreciateD!

        Seriously the MP Wedding Photog is AWESOME!! We had him take all our pics and he did an amazing job. We got a huge album, about 180 pics and the CD with all of our negatives on it. There are no copyright issues as we paid for the whole thing there and I have sent them all to walmart.com and got more prints. I totally encourage you to go with the MP photographer. I was super nervous about this but I cannot tell you how awesome and great the photos turned out. They are posted somewhere on here. As for other vendors - what are you thinking about doing? We had an outside cocktail reception which the MP arranged everything - we chose from 3 different options which had tons of selections and we had our own private *free* bar during it too which had EVERYTHING you could think of! I didn't have any outside vendors and it went wonderful. They truly do anything you want and take care of every little detail!

          Betsy, thanks for that, I've been going back and forth on the photographer, I think I'll just save myself the trouble and stick the the hotel photog. I'm excited that you can have them do your reception now, I think I'll add a couple hours of reception time too. Your pictures were beautiful, the photog did a great job.

            1 more thing 2...Did you use a DJ from the resort/Ipod/mariachi band/etc ?

              I can't remember my photog's name isn't that awful! I think it was Roberto - I'll check for sure though. We brought our ipod and hooked it up to the sound system which sounded GREAT!! It was $115 to rent the sound system which consisted of 2 huge loud speakers and a microphone and all the sound equipment. It worked out perfect- I arranged all the songs on my IPOD in order b4 we left and so I just let it play - paused it for speeches, etc.
