I have never been to Dreams but it looks nice...also Dreams is opening a new hotel in Nuevo Vallarta in October...that might be an option for you also! I think it is called Villamagna or something like that...it is on the Dreams website now!

I think Dreams PV would make a wonderful honeymoon! We stayed there during our wedding week and it was really nice. We didn't get to take advantage of the resort like we wanted because our schedule was hectic but with time to veg out it would have been spectacular!

Pricing right now for next May is a bit on the higher end but depending on the Sandals property in Jamaica doing an adult only all inclusive is definately worth it! Depending on who you book the honeymoon with if the price comes down you can get it adjusted to the new price.

We are doing our wedding at Dreams, and I have noticed while doing my tripadvisor research, that the hotel is extremely popular for honeymoons. It gets lots of good reviews. Also, remember that PV is one of the most romantic spots in Mexico. Okay, I have no basis of comparison, but when I visited last year I fell in love with the cobblestone boardwalk ("Malecon") and the authenticity of the old town. I think pv is an incredibly romantic destination, and Dreams has one of the best beaches in the whole PV area because it is private (less beach vendors) and with beautiful turquoise water (giving it a carribean feel). Hope you enjoy, whatever you decide!elefant.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
