Okay, this may seem random,,, or maybe not... is there a place at GBP Tulum, or do they steam your wedding gown? I bought mine the other day, and this thought came in to my head while watching the infomercial for my little steamer (while procrastnating not getting a paper done!) So... they must have somewhere right? Does anyone know the answer to this? And do the plastic garment bags help avoid wrinkles?? AND one more question... We are flying continental... Anyone know if they will let me put the dress in the first class closet?? I just started thinking about all of these things...

JoLo - I got my dress steamed there. I arranged it with Jazmin the day we met with her. We got the flower girl's dress steamed too. I'm not sure of the price as I'm pretty sure we never got charged for it (not sure if it was accidental or if they include it in the packages).

ETA: RyanAmanda - What were your questions for Jazmin? Maybe we can help

RyanAmanda - I'm attaching the Spa Prices that Jazmin sent to me. The Spa contact information is close to the bottom. Their email is bahiaspa@tulum.bahia-principe.com

        Hope that helps!!

ETA: The prices may have changed as these were for January 2008. :)

Does anyone know if you are allowed to customize the Legal Ceremony. We would like to have some readings, sand ceremony and possibly the lazo ceremony.

Today I phoned the resort and was able to get a hold of Paloma. She was actually really nice and reassuring. She told me that Jazmin had left for the day but that she would get her to email me back in the morning. She basically said don't worry because they do tons of wedding so she's sure they'll be able to take care of everything. Also, she said that the spa doesn't do appts far into advance so not to worry about the appts. :)

Thanks for the updated spa list - the one I had was older then that so I'm sure it wasn't as accurate.

Oh, Paloma also said they hadn't had the best weather this week. Hopefully it gets better for Royfa's wedding in a couple days!

Jazmin told us that we could add things to the ceremony (like the sand ceremony, readings, etc), but that we couldn't change what the minister had planned to say. Hope that helps.

RyanAmanda - I hope the weather clears up for you! I am so glad you were able t get ahold of her, I am sure your wedding will be perfect.

                Sunsierra - Thanks!!

One more question on private dinner outside is there a limit to the number of people? We originally planned on around 50 ppl but now with the economy I think it will be between 35 and 40.

Hi JoLo908, I was wondering (or anyone else who has it) could send me the attachments of the bouquets and arches as well (davidandfrancine@gmail.com).

I've been taking a little break from the wedding planning - sometimes it feels like this stuff never ends and yet the wedding is still so far away! Thank goodness for my mom. She's been a lifesaver in terms of helping me out with things since med school is getting super crazy right now!

I *think* they claim that they will still charge you for 50 people as that is the minimum. But I'm pretty sure a few brides have only been charged for the actual # of people. So I would budget for 50 just in case.

We leave tomorrow! I can't believe it's almost here, it seems we just started planning!!

I got an email from Del Sol today, our wedding is scheduled for 5pm but she things it will be dark by then. I guess the weather hasn't improved. I emailed Jazmin to see if we could bump everything forward an hour...hopefully we can but I don't think we'll be able to. I remember her saying there was a wedding at 3pm.

For those of you already married lady's, how much did you tip Jazmin? We were talking about it today and I have no clue.

                      Wish us luck!!!
