Hey I just received my marriage certificate as well. I went to ICBC(BC Drivers licensing) to change my name on my licence and the lady told me I have to get it translated, as well as have the translater complete a form that they gave me. I would think Ontario might require the same but they may be more lenient. Its going to cost me $50 and is only taking a few days so not a huge deal just kind of sucks.

Futurewifey2011 Amy - tell me about it! I'm having the same issue, I was emailing Karla for nearly 3 weeks so went to Paloma who me Maria was the coordinator for Coba, same email address so why nobody replied!? No explanation just simple it's Maria. How did you come to find out? When is your wedding? I'm April! I emailed her yesterday so hopefully she won't take too long to get back but I'll let you know. I'm annoyed nobody saw or just ignored my emails to Karla as email address is the same! Gemma x

So am I understanding correctly that Karla is no longer the coordinator for the Coba? What the heck?! That totally would have been nice to know from someone! Guess I will try to reach Paloma. Is the email address the same?

I also have been trying to contact Karla but as yet have not had a reply.  I thought she may have been on holiday or something so I re-sent my email again, but still no reply.

Can you tell me what email address you wrote to as its been over 4 weeks now and still no reply from anyone.  After reading this huge thread, Im starting to panic that I havent got anything organised at all.

I hadn't heard from her for like 2 weeks. She had been really good about getting back within 2-3 days, so I thought it was odd. It wasn't a big deal so I was just going to wait to email her back. Then I saw on here yesterday someone (maybe you) wrote the Karla wasn't there anymore. I'm totally bummed! Had only communicated via email but she seemed super sweet! I sure home Maria will get back in touch. Kinda aggrevating! And makes me a little nervous that some of my requests may not be taken care of. Don't really want to go through everything again with Maria. But we will see I guess. I wrote Paloma last night and she responded today saying that Karla has filled Maria in on everything and she would be the new coordinator. So we shall see I guess! I just wrote Maria so hopefully I will hear from her soon. Disappointed because Karla seemed really easy to work with! We must keep our fingers crossed!

My wedding is June! I'm really excited and ready to go!

Happy planning! Hope we both hear back from her soon!

Linzip82 Its really hard isn't it - I was really happy with Karla as she responded so quickly & now I feel totally out if control! I'm worried as its not just me that isn't getting any replies & I leave 8 weeks today! Maria who has taken over for Karla is at the same email address which is groupsmx3@bahia-principe.com And the email for Paloma who is in charge is groupsmx@bahia-principe.com You will always get a fast response from Paloma. Futurewifey2011 I feel exactly the same - is read some great things about Karla and she always responded to my emails within a couple of days. I'm worried as I can't even get an email answered so no idea whether to wait or go bridezilla & hound them. I leave 8 weeks today! As you say fingers crossed for a response soon!

Sorry to hear the Coba brides have lots Karla... I heard she was amazing to work with. Im sure Maria is just as good.

For the cake- I just emailed them a picture of what I wanted my cake to look like and she said they could do it no problem. I would just need to pay an extra $15 for the flowers on it

 

Have any of you bought the fabric for the hammocks location? Where did you get it- I really loved Trish's Aqua one and want the same in Fushcia
