Coba and tulum have good music but we mostly kept to the main bar in Akumal, last time they did some greats shows and dances on stage then music afterwards, our children loved the entertainment before the shows so they were worn out before the music. The hacienda was nice also.

Thanks ladies!! :)

Does anyone know if they can make a gluten free cake? Myself, fiance, and soon to be brother in law are all allergic to gluten. thanks! :)
Me too! I got a gluten free cake at my bridal shower because I was so bummed I wouldn't get to eat my wedding cake. I asked Maria if they can make a gluten free wedding cake. They did she they would accommodate my wedding meal since I'm allergic to wheat/gluten and also pork. Please let me know if you hear anything about gf cake.

If you are bringing your photographer, it's not a problem at all.

If you're using the resort photographer, then you pay for them to stay

Can you please me the photographers price list if you have it? katlewitzke@gmail.com

Also, how much extra would it be to have my friend take photos of us?.... meaning, would we have to pay a fee to allow this? (I have two friends that have taken some photography classes that would do it for free or next to nothing)

This is what Jazmin emailed me last week regarding outside photographers and videographers:

Finally about the photo & video, all must be reviewed with the photo company in house, I will send your email to them to check all about  this point, but until I know in 2013 external suppliers are not allow, nevertheless still  send your email to get all the info from  the right person,

***So, does this mean no more outside photographers? My best friend owns a photography studio and I would love it if I could fly in her photographer - pay for the photographers trip in exchange for photos! would this be possible???

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
