I didn't get a video from them... but she was there with a camera - I'm not sure what that was about... I didn't sign a release or anything. I was wondering if they'd use it on their website or something? I was planning to ask Bijan about it.. I'll let you know!

Swankster welcome back. thanks for the info on the DJ. how much was he. cant wait to see some pictures and see your review
We paid $300 total for 2.5 hours.. I'm pretty sure this price was cheaper than the resort DJ. And he was perfect.. he didn't do much talking other than to announce my husband and I and call us out for our first dance. So it was song after song - which is what I wanted... I didn't want a DJ that talks a lot. A friend of mine took a ton of video with one of those flip-video cams... I'm hoping to upload it to youtube or something to give a better visual.

SWONG - Gorgeous pics! Did you use Arrecife as well? Who was your photog? Ours was Nestor... I'll post some pics soon!

Hi Swankster!!

I'm glad your wedding turned out well, and guess what? we are both a married woman now! Isn't that strange? ha!

I didn't really "use" Arrecife, he just happened to be the resort photographer, our package included 10 free pictures and I ended up purchasing ALL of the pictures from him, how could you resist such nice pictures? He was amazing anyway, very professional and fun!!

Please post some of your pictures, can't wait!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
