Gran Bahia Principe Akumal/Tulum/Coba - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Yeah I think that the name might have changed! My friends just came back from the resort and they brought us back T shirts from there saying "BP". They thought it was funny cause that will be both my FI and I's intials once we are married! (it is a pretty werid coinidence)

I was thinking about going with the poolside cocktails and just do the dinner in one of the resturants. I thought that we have dancing and a few of the other traditional things there. Has anyone heard anything about that?

What a cute coincedence about the initials! I guess I should clarify with Jazmin because I want to put the resport name on the invites.

You want to have dancing by the pool or in the restaurant?

You can have dancing by the pool, but I don' think you could the restaurant since other people will be eating.

I need to know what the tables are like in the restaurant and how many people can seat per table. I need to get my centerpieces together.

thanks!!
I can email you the stuff after I get home from work. Will probably be in the afternoon unless Martha gets a chance to send it before me. They didn't send me anything until our deposit was down on the trip. Even though I had confirmed a wedding date.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
