It's okay, you won't need an adaptor in Akumal, Tulum or Coba. The plugs are the same as here and your irons will work fine.

However, in Tulum I found that even though the plugs are the same as here, I was not able to plug in my Blackberry charging cord because the head of the power plug was too large for the space where you plug things in to the wall. When I mentioned this at the front desk, they told me I could purchase an adaptor at the gift shop for $3 US...we got one and that did the trick.

This was not an issue at Coba either...not sure about Akumal as I have not stayed there...yet! LOL!

We just booked a site visit for Dec 30-Jan 6! It was a great deal for the Coba over NYE so we decided to just do it. And we only had to pay $11 more pp for the GOLD club! We're going to contact our WC and see if she'll take a little time to meet with us while there so we can iron out anything that we're feeling we need a little more personal touch on. We're so excited!!! woot.gif

I'm jealous. I want to go back so bad, especially now that the snow is falling here in Ontario. Looking at a high of -11 today just doesn't sound as good as a high of 30.

Phew what a ring Kirsten! You're man done good. Oh and nice website too. lol. I made one for our wedding but found that no one ever looked at it. They just called to ask all the questions they had regarless if it was on the website already.

 

I later made a facebook group for our wedding. I found that worked out much better for my family and friends because we're facebook junkies.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.
