Internet access is for the diamond members only (or so it was last year) there is a little room with 2-3 computers.

As for bringing your own laptop, make sure you have a laptop lock to keep it safe in your room.

We're back and we're married!!!

Everything went perfectly except the pouring rain in the morning that lasted until 1:30 in the afternoon. We we're lucky enough to have our wedding outside. Jazmin did a wonderful job and everything we asked was there! The only thing I can say about her is that she takes way too much time to answer us back! We got married on the Tulum side and we had the legal and the mayan ceremony right after! After the second ceremony we had the mariachis and everybody loved it. Our photographer was Elizabeth Medina! What a nice person! She's so lovely to work with, she's relaxed and she don't mind when we ask for special pics! I can't wait to see her pictures! For now, here's a few non profesionnal one!!

Congrats! Gorgeous pictures! I can't wait to see the professional ones. I have lots of questions for you. It sounded like you had the legal ceremony, right? If so, how was the officiant? Were you allowed to write your own vows and add in extra things such as sand ceremony, readings, etc? Did the coordinator translate, how was that? Also, how was the dinner? We want details! Thanks so much for your help. I'm glad everything went well.

Yes we had the legal ceremony and the juge was fine, she spoke only spanish and Jazmin translate everything and it was ok. We didn't write our vows but we could if we would because Jazmin ask us at our meeting. She told me we couldn't include the sand ceremony because the judge was really strict... We had the dinner at the buffet because we didn't want to choose what everybody would have had for dinner... It was perfect because it was semi-private... I hope this helps a little bit...

For your other question :
We had the chance to dance a few songs in the lobby bar.... The DJ wasn't available...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
