Gran Bahia Principe Akumal/Tulum/Coba - POST HERE!

We are also planning on buying maracas as our favors I believe someone said they start at around $1 and then go up from there depending on the paint/art on them.

I like the colors but I think we will just go with white.

We're not ready at all! I wish it was here already but I also wish I had more time.

We spent this morning in the emergency room as FH thought he broke his foot. Needless to say not a fun morning at all. Luckily it's not broken but it's badly injured. They put him in this hard air-filled cast like thing and told us it will be better in 3 to 8 weeks. We're praying it's better soon as we fly out in just under three weeks! Even if it's not better, at least it won't be in a cast where he has to stay out of the water. It just means we won't be able to be as adventurous as we had planned.

Because of his foot, I'm starting to get a little stressed. Jazmin hasn't gotten back to me about some things even though I know she read my email (gotta love read receipts!). Plus, I don't know what to do about flowers. We're not crazy about any of the ones that Jazmin sent us.

I need a holiday!!

Haha, the whole foot thing is stressful! Just make sure he rests up and does what the doctor says!! I am sure it will get better sooner than later... I had a virus and they told me it would take 3-6 weeks to go away, and it only took a little over a week... positive attitude equals positive recovery! And don't worry, the wedding will go smoothly... Sounds like everyone has a hard time getting in touch with Jazmin!!

Amanda I am sorry to hear about Ryans foot, I hope he heals soon a word of encouragement I broke two toes and crushed all the nerves in my foot and they said if I would be lucky to have full feeling by Feb my foot is now fine and it healed in about 8 weeks. What are the issues you are waiting to hear on, maybe we can all email her.

I wouldn't worry too much about the flowers. The pictures that Jazmin shows you are just a guideline. You can create your own bouquet with the choices that they show you (like x flower from this bouquet and y flower from a different bouquet with these greens, etc.) or a totally different bouquet (although you might have to pay more $$$ if you go with something totally different).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
